My name is Alessandra.

I’m a self taught illustrator.

I was born in Hiroshima, Japan, and raised in Milan, Italy. In 2009 I moved to New York City, but now I live in Pittsburgh,PA with my husband.

I mainly do children’s illustrations using colored pencils, gouache and ink.

In 2024 I self-publish my first book “The Bear and the Star”, a silent book.

In 2025 I illustrated “Alessia discovers a spiderweb” by Anna Harsh.
